? ? ? Frequently Asked Questions ? ? ?
My child is not potty trained as yet, is this a problem? No. All we ask is that you supply nappies, wet wipes, cream (if required) and a change of clothes. When my child turns 3, will they be moved from Nursery to Pre-School? Children are in Nursery from the age of 2 and stay there for the academic year. This means that from September they move to Pre-School and are in their year group/cohort. I am anxious leaving my child on their first day. Can I stay? All children are different and you know your child best. If you wish to stay to help settle your child in, you are more than welcome to do so. Our experienced team will work with you offering advice and support. Can I change the hours or days for my child to attend? Yes, but we do require a minimum of a half term's notice and the change, subject to availability, will take place at the start of the following term. This applies to the Nursery and Pre-School core sessions 9am-3pm. The change of hours can be found towards the bottom of this page. For wraparound care you can book ad-hoc sessions and this is done via Parent Pay and bookings need to be made by 9.30am on the day for after school care or the previous day for breakfast club. If my child attends your Nursery and Pre-School, can they be guaranteed a place in Reception for their school place? School admissions is administered by the local authority and specific criteria applies regarding the allocation of school places. I am not eligible for funding and therefore how do I pay for Nursery and Pre-School sessions? Invoices are raised at the beginning of each term and sent to you by email. The balance is payable within 30 days of the invoice date. You can pay via Parent Pay, which is a BACS payment, by childcare vouchers or the Government tax-free scheme. If you wish to pay in instalments this needs to be agreed on receipt of the invoice.
