Headteacher - VacancyChaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary School and Nursery requires a determined and imaginative Headteacher to lead the continuous improvement and change processes that are currently in initial phase.
The Headteacher will hold responsibility for the leadership and management of: learning; development of staff and children; change and improvement strategies; effective use of resources and community building. The position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to test and develop leadership skills, and the capacity to raise pupil attainment significantly through personal impact, influence and experience. The post would suit an experienced head seeking the opportunity to compound skills and lead creatively, but would equally be suitable for an exceptional applicant for first headship whose experience and successes match governor aspirations for the school. The new Headteacher must be able to: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, including drive, ability to inspire, energy, resilience and strong personal presence. Encourage an open, equitable and safe school culture, and build full commitment to pupil centered learning. Build relationships of trust and mutual respect with governors, trustees and all stakeholders. Drive improvements in pupil progress in line with ambitious targets. Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary School is a voluntary aided primary school which relocated to a new site two years ago. An ecologically designed building in a rural area of exceptional beauty, its resources are significantly beyond those expected in a small village based school. The post offers the opportunity for a hardworking individual to create the conditions for the high level of success expected by children, parents and the local community. Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff must share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check. We welcome applications from all sections of the community. Application forms should be returned to the school office, addressed to Mrs J Cooper, Chair of Governors.
