Keith has been an education professional for over thirty-five years, twenty plus years in mainstream secondary schools as science teacher and computing teacher, then moving on to higher education teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Keith is currently delivering Computing and Geography in an independent special school in Birmingham, spending three days a week working with some amazing children with their ADHD and Autism. He has been a teacher trainer for three years and before that helped teacher in schools delivering Computing, initially through the Computing at Schools program and then as Regional Delivery Partner initiating the National Centre for Computing Education. As well as his governor role in his spare time he supports the Ambulance Service coordinating the Wyre Forest First Responders and delivering first aid training. During the Covid pandemic he supported the WMAS on their High Dependency Transport and St Johns Ambulance vaccinating people as a volunteer. Keith has considerable governance experience, having been a parent governor in a primary school, a staff governor in a secondary school and is now on his second four-year term of office as a governor at Chaddesley. |
