Vacancy for Key Stage 2 Teacher and Phase Leader

We are looking for a qualified primary teacher to join our strong and supportive team as KS2 Phase Leader.

What we are looking for

• A talented KS2 Teacher, with a proven track record of good/outstanding teaching, high standards and the ability to lead and motivate pupils and staff.
• An organised, ambitious and inspirational teacher and leader with recent experience of successful subject or middle leadership.
•  Someone who can model and disseminate high quality teaching pedagogy and practice to secure consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning for our children.
• A knowledgeable teacher who has the capability of leading a core subject.
• A candidate who has high expectations of behaviour and standards as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Someone who will contribute to the wider life at the school.
• An experienced teacher who will lead and maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment
• Good interpersonal skills, the ability to coach and mentor and work well as part of our staff team

 
Position Details
This is a class based position teaching a Year 6 class, however, generous out of class planning and management time will be offered as well as a TLR. Your focus as the KS2 Phase Leader will be to support and drive the CPD and development of the teachers within your phase, the outcomes of all children; through data analysis and intervention. As a key member of the SLT you will be given leadership training, to help support your ability to support key Teaching & Learning areas and the SLT. You will lead a core subject.
