Learning Assistant working in the Autism Resource Centre

An exciting opportunity has become available! We are looking to appoint an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to support a small group of children within our new Autism Resource Centre.

The successful applicant will have SEN experience within a school setting and most importantly a willingness to learn and develop innovative teaching styles and approaches as part of the already established ARC team.

The role is for 32.5 hours per week (8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday) term time only. There is flexibility for a job share/two part time roles for the right candidate. Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.

We invite potential applicants to visit the ARC on  Friday 23 June at 2.30pm for a show round and opportunities to ask questions.

1:1 Learning Assistant

We are looking to appoint an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to support pupils’ learning and work with a team supporting a child with ASD. Teaching assistant qualifications and previous experience of working with children in a school are essential.

The role is for 22.5 hours per week (8.30am to 1pm Monday to Friday) term time only and initially is a temporary contract. Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.
