1:1 SupportLearning Assistant from September 2016 A 1:1 Support Teaching Assistant is required to join teachers and support staff, working to support a child with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and a child with Down Syndrome, on a split placement with The Wyre Forest School. (One child will attend two days a week and the other three days a week)
The candidate will support the children to reach their potential within class. Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential.
The successful candidate will work closely with outside agencies and the SENDCo, and may be asked to attend meetings to discuss the child’s progress.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Support Teaching Assistant. Teaching assistant qualifications and previous experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs in a school is essential.
The role is for 20 hours per week. The post is Grade 2 and is a temporary contract up to 31st August 2017.
